Washington Post Article
There are many articles and predictions about the housing market but as a top local Northern Virginia Real Estate Agent , Cindy Polk, specializing in country properties, I am in the trenches assisting buyers and sellers with everything from farm land, cottages and hobby farms to fine estates, Virginia Equestrian facilities, polo clubs and vineyards. I see a definite improvement in morale which has a positive effect on our local housing market. Positive morale leads to increased confidence which allows buyers and sellers to become more proactive and willing to think outside the box to facilitate successful transactions. Last year I was fortunate to sell one of the highest sold properties in Loudoun County, a beautiful horse farm between Middleburg and Purcellville. The farm had a fine estate home that enjoyed sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. It was further improved by a guest house and extensive equestrian facilities. Below is an article highlighting the highest priced sales of 2011.
